Help for Anxiety and Panic Attacks
Learn to calm your nervous system and change patterns of thinking that lead to cycles of anxiety, panic attacks and stress.
Having constant anxiety can be overwhelming and destabilising, and make it difficult to function and enjoy life. Chronic anxiety can also lead to panic attacks which seem to strike out of nowhere and can significantly interfere with living the life you want.
It doesn’t have to be this way! Chronic anxiety and panic attacks are not signs that there is anything fundamentally ‘wrong’ with you. Often they simply mean that you are mis-understanding what is happening when you are anxious, which can turn into ‘vicious circles’ which make the anxiety worse. This can be changed!
How I can help
My approach to helping you deal with anxiety and panic attacks usually has three elements:
First I’ll help you to understand what is happening and why. This in itself can be calming for many people as they start to realise that the anxiety is part of patterns of understanding and reacting that can be changed.
Second, I’ll show you ways to help to regulate your nervous system, putting you more in control of the anxiety response so that you begin to be less swept up in it.
Third, we’ll look at your beliefs around the anxiety and how these beliefs may be reinforcing and embedding it.
Sometime we may also need to look to see if there are deeper issues from the past which have led to you feeling anxious in the present and address these.
For most people this process is sufficient to allow the anxiety to begin to resolve so that you can start to live the life you want again.

Costs and Practicalities
Sessions are either in-person or online. If we are meeting in person, we will work in a quiet and private dedicated studio at my home. Online sessions are held on Zoom.
Session Length and Cost
Sessions generally last for 50 minutes and cost £60. Sixty minute sessions can also be arranged if that is better for you.
I offer a 10% discount for a six-session block paid for in advance.
Concessions are sometimes available, please ask if you are in genuine need.
